About gcloud_observability

This extension reads and writes Google Cloud Observability telemetry using Application Default Credentials or DuckDB secrets. Cloud Logging rows use the same flat OTLP log schema as duckdb-otlp, making them directly composable with the Datadog, Splunk, and CloudWatch extensions.

Features:

  • Cloud Logging reads with pagination, retries, and safe filter pushdown
  • Batched writes through send_gcloud_logs
  • Cloud Monitoring metric queries and alert tables
  • App Topology service dependency queries
  • A read-only attached catalog for logs, alerts, and service maps
  • OAuth2 support for authorized-user, service-account, and pre-minted token credentials
